And now, it seems that it is officially true in terms of the quality of life offered in the two countries, as a recent study shows how to the two nations have secured spots in the top five in this regard. Yes, UAE and Qatar have earned top spots for themselves in a recent ‘Quality of Life’ index by InterNations and we are here to tell you all about this development.
UAE & Qatar Land In Top 5 For Quality Of Life
According to a recent report published by InterNation, several rankings were revealed. One of the rankings happens to be the Top Quality Of Life. Besides this, the rankings also revealed about the Best Places For Expatriates in the world, which we mentioned previously. Now, we are talking about the quality of life for expatriates.
Covering everything from personal safety and healthcare to transportation, this Quality of Life index was based on five subcategories. However, before we discuss these subcategories, it’s important to take note that the UAE has earned the third spot while Qatar has landed on the fourth spot. As such, Spain has taken the top spot in the list of the top 10 countries.

Now coming to the methodology, five subcategories have been kept in mind, with three to six underlying factors in each. The subcategories included environment and climate, healthcare, safety & security, leisure options, and travel & transit. In fact, not just in this list, but the Quality of Life Index By Country 2024 Midday By Numbeo also ranked at a high position. Yes, moving up by two places, this time, the nation secured 182.9 points. And Qatar ended up securing the 17th place, which is higher than several developed countries like the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Ireland. In fact, it ended up ranking third in Asia after Oman and Japan.
