If you ever find yourself in an emergency scenario it’s critical to have a basic reference to the hotlines you may contact for assistance. You need to know how to contact the appropriate authorities. It helps you handle the situation and save lives. In the event of a crisis, save these emergency phone numbers you may call in the UAE. Be a responsible citizen and report.

Over-All Emergency Phone Numbers

Save them on your phone and jot them down on paper as well. The latter is especially beneficial if your phone’s battery dies abruptly.

  1. 999 for Police
  2. 998 for Ambulance
  3. 997 for Fire Department (Civil Defence)
  4. 996 for Coastguard991 for electricity failure
  5. 922 for water failure.

Sometimes the situation might be less critical. Hence, calling on these numbers would not be relevant. For a non-emergency issue such as a small collision with no human injuries, you can dial 901.

You can call the Humane Society of the United States to report animal maltreatment. The hotline for the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) is 800 3050. The hotline for the Dubai Municipality is 800 900.

Number Of Work-Related Emergencies

Employers can contact 80060 to report any work-related injury or death. Report the incident to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation within 24 hours, according to the legislation.
