Yes, the Saveway Supermarket that has a commercial license number of CN- 4314510 was closed. This was done in violation of Food Law No. (2) of 2008 in Abu Dhabi. As a result, the practices of the supermarket were causing a danger to public health. Before this, the Healthy Dream Food Cafe had also been shut down in Abu Dhabi for repeated violations that were related to food safety. Moreover, the practices followed by this establishment were also deemed as a threat to public health.

The authorities have always asked people to be on the lookout for such places that are violating food laws. And the authority itself is also quite vigilant as it carries regular inspections of establishments that are located across the emirate. This is done to ensure that they are complying with all the regulations that protect the resident’s health and safety. If they find the practices posing a significant risk or in violation of the law, the establishment is shut down.

So, it’s not wrong to say that the vigilance of authority ensures that we eat safe food.
