The UAE has been experiencing a drastic dip in temperature, over the last couple of days. Well, we can’t be happier that winter is finally here. Heavy rainfall lashed parts of UAE last week, leaving residents craving for more showers. However, the good news is that the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted a thunderstorm this week. Low temperature, thunder and lightning have been forecast in the UAE on Wednesday and Thursday.
Winter has finally made its way into the UAE. After last week’s heavy rains weathermen have now predicted a thunder storm in the country over the next three days. The NCM has predicted a major drop in temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday across the country. Strong winds blowing up sand, leading to poor or very poor visibility are also on the cards.What’s It?
Wind speeds are expected to hit 70kmph tomorrow while the sea is also expected to put up a rough appearance.
Meanwhile, Jebel Jain recorded a lowest temperature of 11.9°C early this morning. Temperatures are expected to hit 27°C to 31°C in the interior regions, 28°C to 32°C along the coast and 18°C to 22°C in the mountains.
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority has also urged residents to take necessary precautions while driving on the roads, in order to avoid crisis.

Meanwhile, last week’s heavy rainfall left The Dubai Mall in a bad state. Water seeped into parts of the mall, leaving shops floating.
