The UAE has some of the prettiest beaches that make for the perfect destination to spend some time with our loved ones. With azure waves crashing on the sandy shores, it’s truly a melody to one’s ear, listening to the tranquil sounds of crashing waves. But what if we told you that now it has also been recognised as one of the World’s Top 50 Beaches for 2025? Well, one such beach from the UAE has made it to the list, and we are certainly not surprised.
Saadiyat Beach Makes It To The World’s Top 50 Beaches 2025
Saadiyat Beach has managed to snag a spot in the prestigious World’s 50 Best Beaches and the UAE beach has managed to snag the 39th position on this list. As revealed in a report by the Khaleej Times, this list is drawn on the basis of inputs and expertise of more than 1000 professionals around the globe. But before we talk about the ranking system, it is important to shed some light on the beach in Abu Dhabi.
This beautiful beach is located on Saadiyat Island and is an 8 km stretch. With pristine white sand and turquoise waters, the beach is committed to conservation. The soft sand, coupled with clear water, truly is a therapeutic experience for travellers who visit this place. But what sets it apart is the fact that it is a protected local environment. As it is part of the Marine National Park, it is worth mentioning that this is a 59 km² of eco reserve. So while you are lounging by the beach, you might just spot Hawksbill sea turtles and bottlenose dolphins amongst other protected marine species.
Who Has Taken The Top Spot?
Now, coming to the first spot, this was earned by Cala Goloritzé, which is a beautiful beach in Sardinia, Italy. It is a well-protected site, and now people who visit this place on foot are charged six euros per adult and one euro if the person is below 10 years old. But only limited tickets are sold daily in order to contain the number of people coming to the beach so that it doesn’t get too crowded.
