When we think about politician movements, we tend to think about a big entourage with many cars and guards. So, it comes as a surprise to see a big politician travelling like a normal citizen on a train. Case in point – Uddhav Thackeray. The former Chief Minister of Maharashtra recently took the Vande Bharat Express with his wife after completing an election campaign in the area.

The Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was on a Jansamvad Yatra, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. While coming back from the camping, he decided to take the Vande Bharat Express from Khed to Mumbai. Uddhav Thackeray was accompanied by his wife, Rashmi Thackeray, Milind Narvekar, and MP Vinayak Raut on this journey.
The couple travelled on the executive class of the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express and boarded from Khed. Uddhav Thackeray, reportedly, happily clicked pictures with his fellow passengers and even posed for selfies.

Vande Bharat Express Features To Know About
The Vande Bharat Express from Goa to Mumbai has 7 Chair Cars and 1 Executive Chair Cars coaches. The train halts at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Khed, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, and Thivim. The train has all the basic, necessary, as well as high-end amenities that you can expect in a superfast express train service. It operates thrice a week – Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from Goa’s Madgaon to Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. Similarly, it travels from Mumbai to Goa on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
