Chura ghugni is mostly enjoyed as a breakfast or during the evening snack time. Rich in flavours, the balance of the chana curry and chura is just perfect.

How To Make Ghugni With Chura Ke Bhuja:

Ingredients For Ghugni:

  • Cumin Seeds
  • Peppercorn
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Mustard oil
  • Cassia leaf
  • Onion
  • Chili powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Soaked Kala chaana
  • Water
  • Coriander leaves

Ingredients For Chura Ke Bhuja:

  • Mustard oil
  • Peanuts
  • Salt
  • Dried red chili
  • Onion
  • Green chili
  • Curry leaves
  • Poha/ Chura

Method To Cook Ghugni:

  • Start by grinding cumin seeds, peppercorn, garlic, and ginger and make a paste.
  • Now heat some oil on a pan and add mustard oil a couple of cassia leaves, and the garlic mixture.
  • Add some onion to the pan and saute for some time.
  • Next add chili powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder, and saute for a few more minutes before adding overnight soaked kala chaana.
  • Then add water, cook for some time, and transfer everything to a pressure cooker.
  • Add some salt to it and cook for 15 minutes.
  • In the last step, add some coriander leaves and kala chana ghugni is ready to be served.

Method To Cook Chura Ke Bhaja:

  • Add some oil to a kadhai and roast some peanuts. Sprinkle some salt as well.
  • After you are done preparing the peanuts, take them out, and add dried red chilies and onion to oil.
  • Saute for a few minutes and add green chilies and curry leaves.
  • After some time, add the poha/chura to the kadhai and mix everything well.
  • Make sure you are cooking it till it gets crispy.
  • Lastly, add some salt and roasted peanuts and chura ke bhuja is ready to be served hot.
