Recently, the UK’s first lady, Akshata Murty was seen relishing ice cream with her dad, Infosys tycoon, Narayana Murthy at Bengaluru’s famous Corner House. A customer at the iconic ice cream joint spotted the father-daughter duo unassumingly, seated in a corner, enjoying their ice creams.

X user, Meghna Girish took to the microblogging site to share pictures and her experience spotted UK’s first lady Akshata Murty and Narayan Murthy at Corner House Ice Cream outlet in Jayanagar. She shares that the place was very crowded, the father-daughter duo came in quietly and purchased their ice creams. Meghna Girish writes that, fortunately, the staff instantly recognised the Infosys co-founder and got them chairs.
She called them “gracious” for clicking pictures with customers. The X user was happy that Bengaluru’s beloved Corner House Ice Cream was getting endorsed for free by none other than “India’s IT King”, Narayana Murthy and his daughter, UK’s First Lady, Akshata Murty. “Bangalore aao toh zaroor khao, Corner House is always the best”, she ends her X post.

Netizens Call It Best Advertisement Ever
In the pictures you can spot, Narayan Murthy digging into what looks like a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream while Akshata Murthy tucks into a bowl of sundae or butterscotch ice cream. They were seated right below Corner House’s signature menu displayed on the wall. Another picture shows a purple tray filled with four signature sundaes which is Meghna Girish’s order.
Netizens took to the comments section of her post to share their favourite ice cream recommendations at Corner House. One Netizen urged people to try the signatures Death By Chocolate (DBC) and Creme De La Caramel Sundae. Another called it the best advertisement ever for the ice cream outlet. Many hailed their simplicity and down-to-earth nature. Many others went on a trip down nostalgia. And promised to visit the ice cream spot the next time they’re in the Silicon Valley of India.
