1. The Hatta Honey Festival Is Underway
With the Hatta Honey Festival underway till December 31, the ninth edition has brought together beekeepers, not just from the UAE but all the way from Egypt. In fact, several honey products are displayed across the festival, each of which is unique in its own way. For instance, an Egyptian beekeeper station at the festival has brought honey, which has a distinctive salty taste due to its proximity to the Mangrove Forest, thereby earning its name Mangrove Honey.
2. Lowest Temperature For Saturday Recorded In Raknah
Raknah in the UAE recorded a temperature of 7.1°C at 6:45 AM on Saturday, which made it the lowest temperature for the day. Located in the Al Ain area, it often records low temperatures as the topography includes trees, dunes, and wadis. In fact, the winter season in the Arabian Gulf, which is divided into two periods, lasts for 40 days each. Arba in Al Merei began on December 28, which is often marked by intense cold and rainfall.
3. Inaugural Ras Al Khaimah-Moscow Flight Lands
Air Arabia has begun its inaugural flight from Ras Al Khaimah to Moscow. Yes, the flight landed and it will be operating thrice a week. The non-stop service will therefore offer direct connectivity between the two destinations. As a result, people looking to travel between the two cities for leisure trips or business purposes will truly appreciate this development.

4. Field Traffic Awareness Points Carried Out In Abu Dhabi
The Directorate Of Traffic And Security Patrols of the Abu Dhabi Police carried out field traffic awareness points. This was done for the visitors to the Liwa International Festival. As a part of their, ‘Our Winter Is Safe And Fun’ campaign, this has been done to promote traffic safety and also educate motorcycle users about driving their vehicles safely.
5. Oman To Introduce Unified Customs Tariff
It was recently revealed that Oman will be implementing a unified customs tariff from January 1, 2025. This has been done to boost trade with the Gulf Cooperation Council, which means the new tariff system will feature a 12-digit code. For those who aren’t aware, the previous format was of eight-digit code.
