With the aim of covering over one crore manuscripts, the mission aims to ensure the systematic preservation of historical texts and indigenous knowledge. In fact, a key component of the Gyan Bharatam Mission is the national digital repository of Indian knowledge system. Yes, it will serve as a platform for knowledge sharing. This storehouse will help in digitising and centralising India’s traditional knowledge. As a result, it will be accessible to researchers, students, and institutions worldwide!

This is a big development as the move also aligns with the government’s broader mission, which aims to integrate in ancient wisdom with modern education and technology.
