Two Experiences, One Big Adventure

Hero Winter Camp offers two very distinct programmes: The Desert Experience in Dubai and The Mountain Experience in Kalba. Each one pushes kids to try new things, learn on the move and build confidence without them even realising it’s happening.

The UAE’s month-long school break makes it the perfect time for a reset. Instead of screen time taking over, kids can spend their days doing something far more meaningful. It’s going to be all about discovering nature, solving problems, and forming real friendships.

The Desert Experience

Set in the sweeping dunes of Dubai, this day camp turns the desert into a hands-on learning space. Each day comes with a new theme, so kids never repeat the same experience.

One day, they’re learning about wildlife conservation. Another day, they’re dusting off ancient fossils like mini palaeontologists. And then there’s the Camel Caravan Challenge, a team task that blends creativity with a bit of healthy competition, inspired by traditional Bedouin travel.

The Mountain Experience

If your child loves the idea of a proper adventure, they will love Mountain Experience. Over five days and four nights, campers take on challenges like Jacob’s Ladder and fast-paced games such as Capture the Flag.

There’s balance too. Kids will also enjoy quiet nature walks, campcraft sessions that build independence, and kayaking through the mangroves at Al Qurm Reserve.
