Eric Garcetti Is Visiting Bengaluru This Week
Taking to Instagram, U.S. Consulate General Chennai (@usconsulatechennai) shared a video of the US ambassador sharing the news of his visit to the Karnataka capital.
The upcoming visit to Bengaluru will be his first official trip to this Indian city as the US Ambassador. While announcing the news of his official arrival, he also spoke a few phrases in Kannada. Looks like Eric Garcetti is quite excited about this trip as he asked Netizens to share their suggestions. In this video, he wanted Bengalureans to share their opinions and reccomendations about places to explore, dishes to relish, and some fascinating experiences to enjoy.
“Namaskara Bengaluru! I am excited to explore the Silicon Valley of India and the home of the US India space program”, shared Eric Garcetti. He asked, “What are the places I should visit? What is the food that I should eat? What are the experiences I should have?”
Apart from asking social media users to share their recommendations for places and food, the ambassador also added, “I will send a report back from a beautiful city where we are going to show this relationship that literally extends to the stars between the US and India in Bengaluru.”
