The 24-year-old will shift to India for a year and wishes to enjoy many experiences during her time here. She will be working full-time remotely and plans to explore different parts of India too. Though one of her priorities is to travel to scenic destinations, she wants to have a specific home base, somewhere safe, preferably Mumbai or Goa.
The Redditor currently lives in a city that is not very loud unless any event is hosted somewhere nearby. She prefers living in a city that can be noisy outside but offers a quiet home in a calming ambience when doors and windows are closed. The American woman shared her love for hosting gatherings and bringing people together in this post. Focusing on this, she further asked “How easy or difficult is it to naturally form friendships in Goa and Mumbai?”
Safety becomes a significant priority for anyone planning to move to a new location, especially for women. To know more about Mumbai and Goa and get information to choose between these places, she enquired whether Goa has gated communities like Mumbai if grocery delivery and housekeeping are a thing in Goa, and whether these are more big city services.
