With this installation, Secret Handshake appears to take a dig at US President Donald Trump and, reportedly, his decision last year to renovate the bathroom attached to the Lincoln Bedroom at the White House.
According to ARTnews, the bathroom’s Art Deco-style green tiles were replaced with marble last year. As you can imagine, this move quickly sparked widespread discussion online. The changes weren’t limited to just the washroom. Since returning to office, US President Donald Trump has pushed for broader renovations across the White House and parts of Washington, D.C..
