This time, we came to know about many students in Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria who fell sick after eating dinner and faced the consequences of food poisoning. Affected Students Faced Symptoms Of Food Poisoning
The news of young students suffering from health issues broke out from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ashram Method Inter College in Mehroona village. About 80 children studying here ate dinner on Sunday. Later, they started to feel unwell and suffered from food poisoning symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhoea, and stomach ache, according to a report by Republic World.
Thankfully, the students received medical treatment and are in a stable condition. In a conversation with reporters, the District Magistrate shared updates about the affected students’ health. Akash and Nitesh, two Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ashram Method Inter College students were taken to Maharishi Devraha Baba Medical College. They are undergoing treatment there.
Other students who also faced similar symptoms due to food poisoning received treatment at their school. Doctors by the Chief Medical Officer visited the school in Mehroona village and provided them with primary treatment. After the news broke out, District Magistrate Divya Mittal and Superintendent of Police Sankalp Sharma headed to the medical college.

An Inspection Is Ongoing
After the students had dinner on Sunday and fell sick, the concerned authorities released an official statement stating necessary information about the food poisoning incident. This release highlighted food poisoning to be the reason behind students suffering from vomiting, stomach aches, and other health issues. An inspection is ongoing to find the people responsible for this major chaos and health concern.
Vinay Kumar Sahay, Assistant Commissioner of Food Safety, shared information about the Food Safety and Drug Administration’s investigation of the kitchen and storage unit of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ashram Method Inter College. According to the Republic World report, the team gathered samples of bread, chickpeas, chilli powder, lentils, mixed pickles, mustard oil, and vegetables and sent them for proper testing.
A team of medical professionals has been positioned at the school as a safety measure in times of unexpected emergencies.
