Fly From Goa To Tashkent With Uzbekistan Airways
On September 5, Goa Tourism’s official Instagram handle announced that the airline will launch direct flights from Tashkent to Goa from October 27, 2024. Furthermore, the post stated that the new route will boost connectivity, and increase tourism and exchange between the two destinations. Moreover, the post credits Goa Tourism’s participation in last year’s Tashkent International Tourism Fair in Uzbekistan as the reason behind launching the new route.
Interestingly, it’s not just Indians who have Uzbekistan on their travel wishlists. Many Uzbecs have Goa on their travel wishlists. As per a report by CNBCTV18 in December 2023, the sunny destination welcomed the first charter flight from Tashkent. The inaugural flight touched base at the Manohar International Airport then.

A Bid To Strengthen Cultural Ties Between The 2 Nations
As per the report by CNBCTV18, Goa Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte expressed his happiness on the commencement of a long and fruitful association with Uzbekistan. There was a focus laid on enhancing the cultural exchange and tourism ties between the two destinations. The Indian embassy in Uzbekistan supported the charter service to Goa. On August 17 IndiGo increased its frequency of direct flights on the Delhi-Tashkent-Delhi route.
Uzbekistan’s tourism department has a telos to position the nation as an alluring destination for Indian travellers. To do this, the nation’s prominent airline carrier, Uzbekistan Airways has launched direct flights between Tashkent and Goa. It’s ideal to visit the central Asian destination in the spring season (April to May) as temperatures range from 21°C to 31°C. You can expect pleasant weather during your sightseeing adventures.
