According to officials, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) launched an investigation into possible sabotage in recent train accidents and derailments and is presently looking into at least four cases, as reported by ABP Live.

According to PTI, no hard proof of sabotage attempts in train derailments has been discovered. When train loco pilots noticed a pile of sand thrown on the rails in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, in October, they stopped another attempt at derailment.
