Tirupati Train Delayed:
At the Secunderabad station, passengers who had purchased tickets to ride the Vande Bharat Express towards Tirupati became agitated and tussled with South Central Railway (SCR) officials after the train, which was supposed to depart at 6.15 a.m. on Monday, arrived six hours later at around noon.
Senior railway officials claimed that in order to replace the damaged component of chair car coach C-2 at the yard, the top portion of the equipment had to be disconnected after a fault in the undergear spring system was discovered during a maintenance inspection. They claimed that this procedure took a long time.
