Under 140 Characters

This place serves authentic South Indian food in Bengaluru! We say definitely worth a try if you are looking for some change.

What Is It?

This place is particularly known for its North Karnataka meal . Some of the Bangalorians have a childhood connection with this place. Though the overall quality may fluctuate but for certain food items, this place is still loved by many in the city. Located on Bull Temple Road this restaurant has 3 floors. This restaurant is famous for the “Jolada Rotti Oota”, which is a north Karnataka style of meal, and served in the top most floor. The presentation of food is very traditional, served on a big banana leaf.  The South Indian meal here tastes really good, so you might just want to stick to this one despite North Indian food and biryani on offer.

What Is In It?

Jowar roti meals are known to be an all time favorite over here! Infact, the rotis alone are so awesome that we ordered another meal just so that we could relish more Jowar rotis. Pair the roti with chana sabzi and that’s all you need for a satisfying meal! You can go for a Jowar roti meal – The Jolada Rotti Oota  which contains Jolada Roti (Jowar Roti), rice, rasam, papad, sambhar, ghee, yenghai palya, butter milk and many other items . End your meal with a scoopful of  icecream or you can stick to being traditional and shoot for gulab jamun. Gulab jamun is soft and tasty!
