Since its inaugural flight in July 2014, Vietjet has grown significantly. To date, it has carried over ten million passengers on more than 37 regular and charter flights between Vietnam and South Korea. This continuous expansion highlights Vietjet’s crucial role in facilitating travel, fostering economic ties, and promoting tourism and cultural exchange between the two countries.
Further bolstering regional connectivity, Vietjet also inaugurated a new route from Ho Chi Minh City to Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi province in China, on July 1. To celebrate this launch, the airline is offering a special promotional week. One-way fares start from just ₹5,555 (all-inclusive) across its entire Indian network. This enticing offer is valid for bookings made between July 1st and July 7, 2024, for travel dates ranging from August 22, 2024 to May 25, 2025. Travellers can take advantage of these fares by booking on the Vietjet website or through the Vietjet Air mobile app.
4 Round-Trip Flights Weekly
Operating four round-trip flights weekly, the new China route complements Vietjet’s successful launches of flights to Shanghai and Chengdu. It further solidifies its growing network and strengthens regional cooperation.
In India, Vietjet has implemented strategic expansions. It has established a total of 29 weekly round-trip flights, creating seamless connections between Vietnam and four major Indian cities. These are New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Kochi. They have a modern fleet, dedicated crew, and attractive promotions specifically designed for Indian customers. Vietjet has established a strong presence and exceptional connectivity between Vietnam and India.
Currently, Vietjet Airlines holds the record for the most direct routes between Vietnam and India. It connects major cities like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang with New Delhi, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. This extensive network exemplifies Vietjet’s dedication to enhancing travel experiences and fostering cultural exchange between Vietnam and India.
