Vietnam Is South East Asia’s Most Searched Destination; Secures 7th Position Globally

From its breathtaking landscapes to its rich cultural heritage, Vietnam offers a tapestry of wonders that never fails to enchant visitors. According to a recent report by Google Destination Insights, Vietnam was the seventh most searched destination from March to June. Well, it happened to be the only country in Southeast Asia in the top 20. The country secured the seventh position in the entire list.

Vietnam Is Turning Into A Popular Tourist Destination

Vietnam is becoming a popular travel destination with a huge amount of travellers coming from other countries. According to Times To India, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said in June that more than 5.5 million foreigners have visited the country in the first half of 2023. The number has already surpassed all anticipated foreign arrivals for 2022!

The tourism industry in Vietnam has projected an increase in the number of tourists visiting the country and has set a goal of 8 million tourists for the remaining months of 2023. However, the tourist office has now forecast that the figure will shortly approach 10 million. According to the hotel industry in Vietnam, visitors are mostly from China, India, and Korea.

Hoi An Ancient Town, Halong Bay, the Cu Chi Tunnels, the Marble Mountains, and Notre Dame Cathedral in Saigon are just a few of the top tourist destinations in Vietnam.
