Everyone in India knows the amazing Chef Vikas Khanna. He is making waves in the restaurant scene in New York with his latest venture, Bungalow. Recently, Chef Vikas’s restaurant was honoured with three stars by the prestigious New York Times. He is currently visiting Mumbai and since his visit coincides with Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, he visited the Siddhivinayak Temple — one of the most revered temples in Mumbai. He also made an exciting announcement!

Chef Vikas Khanna recently visited the famous Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. He was there with his mother as his visit coincided with Ganesh Chaturthi festivities. In a video that he shared on his Instagram account, he talked about how blessed and grateful he was feeling.

The video was shared a couple of hours ago and in the caption, he mentioned that he visited the temple early in the morning as he promised to do so to his mother. He also gushed about how spiritually enriching his visit was and how lucky he felt to experience such a moment.

He went on to mention that his mother wanted to purchase decorations for his restaurant from there. The video shows the chef engaged in heartfelt prayers before looking at different floral decorations for his restaurant. He is also seen walking while affectionately holding hands with his mother.

In the post, he also gave an exciting announcement. He said that since Ganesh Chaturthi was around the corner, he had a special gift planned for his guests at Bungalow.

He said that each guest would get a beautiful mini Ganesh Idol carved from an Areca Nut! The video showed the tiny idol and it was definitely one of the cutest things you’ll ever see!
