Who doesn’t love meeting their favourite celebrities? It can be one of the most memorable experiences of your life! Recently, a Vir Das fan was lucky enough to get to him, but only after she went through certain trials and tribulations. Vir Das shares the heartwarming tale of this fan and reveals why this fan encounter was also very important and special to him. He even said that her parents had done a good job of raising her.

A few days ago, Vir Das shared a screenshot of a chat with a fan. What grabbed the attention of Vir Das’s team was the gap between the two messages. The first message mentioned how she was a huge fan of his from Vadodara but could not attend his shows owing to financial reasons.

She also mentioned that she would soon be moving to Canada for higher studies and if he ever came to Toronto or nearby areas, she would attend his show once she started earning. Years later, when Vir Das announced the Canada leg of his tour, she messaged again saying that since she had started earning, she got tickets to his Toronto show!

Vir Das and his team were touched by the fan’s dedication and tried to reach out to her so that they could reimburse her for the ticket. In a follow-up post, what Vir Das revealed, warmed our hearts and touched our souls.

Turns out, the fan refused to accept the reimbursement so the team arranged for a backstage pass. Vir Das therefore got a giant piece of cake of her because you know, being Indian means being incapable of meeting people empty-handed.

Turns out, she, too, got a diary for him! He shared a slew of pictures and, in one of them, gave props to her parents for raising the kid right!
