On May 12, Bengaluru’s Naru Noodle Bar— a brainchild of Chef Kavan Kuttappa (Ex-culinary head of Toit and The Permit Room) — posted on its Instagram handle a picture of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma posing with the culinary team at the restaurant in Shanti Nagar. The couple was dressed in black donning wide smiles on their faces after what we presume was a delicious vegetarian ramen meal.
The caption reads, “Just slurpin’ with @virat.kohli & @anushkasharma.” On a ramen bowl, the couple signed in caps, “One of the best food experiences of our life. Thank you!!” The date mentioned was May 10, 2024, with the couple’s signatures.
The famous Japanese ramen bar for long has adorned the wishlists of food connoisseurs in Bengaluru battling it out to make a booking. With weekly reservations open on Mondays with a time-slot seating format of 75 minutes per slot, it’s a food experience that requires patience. Patience always bears fruit, in this case— ramen.
