Immigration Orders Couple’s Return To Sharjah After Arriving In Indore

A couple travelling from Sharjah to Indore faced visa issues upon arrival on September 17, 2024. The couple landed at Indore airport on an Air India Express flight, but officials discovered their visa permitted entry only through Delhi. Due to this technical error, immigration officers stopped the couple at Indore airport. According to the authorities, their visa rules restrict entry into India solely through the Delhi Airport. As a result, they were not allowed to proceed with their journey in Indore.

Airport Officials Arrange Couple’s Return By Air India Express Flight

The officials confirmed that the couple would remain at the airport until they could be sent back to Sharjah. The airport authorities arranged for them to return on the next Air India Express flight, scheduled for late Thursday night.
