When the thermostat hits sky-high numbers, the coast comes calling.

  • Khorfakkan Beach:
Framed by the Hajar Mountains, this beach offers a unique ambience and stunning views. Go jet-skiing, try padel, or just kick back at one of 21+ restaurants and cafés lining the shore. Murals, boat tours, and shaded spots, it’s family time done right.
  • Al Heera Beach:
More chilled, less crowded. Ride along the beachfront cycle track, watch the sunset, or unwind at its 17 retail and dining outlets. It’s Sharjah’s longest beach and tailor-made for lazy days.

Both beaches host the Marine Summer Camp, inclusive of kayaking, beach football, swimming, and more. July sessions happen at Al Heera, while August heads to Khorfakkan. Showers, family cabanas, and plush seating make long beach days comfortable and easy.

Urban Cool By The Water

  • Al Majaz:
It delivers all the right feels with shady green corners, fountains, boat rides, and nearly two dozen food joints. It’s the kind of place where you can walk, eat, sit, repeat.
  • Al Qasba:
With 21 buzzing eateries and tons to do, this spot is where the cool crowd chills without melting. Bonus: Masrah Al Qasba is bringing Pinocchio to life from 29–31 August—perfect for wide-eyed kids and grown-ups chasing childhood feels

Waterpark Goals & After-Dark Fun

Just across from Flag Island, Al Montazah Park is giving families a reason to play hard and stay late.

  • Pearl’s Kingdom:
Sharjah’s biggest waterpark has over 35 attractions, including splash zones and slides for every age group.
  • Island of Legends:
Fairground feels and storybook rides? Yes, please.

The bonus? Ladies-only days, midnight closing hours, and weekend performances mean no one gets bored, even after sunset.

Heritage Hideaways & Luxe Retreats

If you want more hush than hustle, the Sharjah Collection by Shurooq brings boutique staycations that blend culture, luxury, and nature:

  • Kingfisher Retreat, Kalba:
Waterfront tents in a mangrove forest. Accessible by boat or golf cart. Yes, it’s as dreamy as it sounds.
  • Al Faya Retreat:
Restored stone buildings with saltwater pools, desert views, and a spa so private you run it yourself.
  • Al Badayer Retreat:
A desert fort with plunge pools, camel rides, and firelit amphitheatre nights.
  • Najd Al Meqsar:
A 100-year-old mountain village provides winding trails, peaceful dams, and ancient rock carvings.
  • Al Rayaheen Retreat:
Hidden heritage houses are wrapped in serene, traditional design.
  • The Chedi Al Bait & Serai Wing:
Five-star heritage luxury in the Heart of Sharjah. Think restored pearl merchant homes, private jacuzzis, and summer offers that include heritage tours and waterpark access. The definition of staycation goals.
