The election season is in full swing in India right now. Gearing up for the next phase of general elections in Uttar Pradesh, the process of nomination filing is happening today. PM Narendra Modi will be a part of it as well as he will be filing his nominations from Varanasi. Keeping this in mind, the Vistara Airline has issued a traffic warning for all its passengers. They have warned their customers about traffic congestion en route to Varanasi Airport and asked them to plan their travel accordingly.
PM Modi To File His Nomination In Varanasi Today
PM Narendra Modi will be filing his Lok Sabha election nomination from Varanasi today. This process is likely to draw a lot of attention and heavy traffic congestion is expected in the city today. Vistara Airline even took to X (formerly Twitter) to issue a traffic warning to all its passengers and asked them to plan their travel keeping this in mind.
PM Modi is already in Varanasi and held a roadshow on a five-kilometre stretch on Monday. He was even accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during this. After concluding the roadshow, the PM visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and offered prayers there.

Heavy Traffic Congestion & Slow Vehicle Movement Expected
Ahead of PM Modi’s nomination filing, there is a likelihood of heavy traffic congestion and slow vehicle movement in various parts of Varanasi. Keeping this in mind, Vistara Airlines issued a traffic warning. They have asked their passengers to plan their travel to the Varanasi Airport keeping the traffic condition in mind. They are expecting heavier-than-usual traffic en route to Varanasi Airport today. Voting in Varanasi will be held on June 1.
