Hoax Bomb Threats Continue To Worry Several Indian Airlines
The last two weeks have been quite hectic for many Indian carriers. While the Vistara flight’s diversion on Friday was due to a medical emergency, several airlines have continued to receive hoax bomb threats and this has been hampering the operations of the airlines quite severely.
According to India Today, in the last week, more than 170 flights operated by Indian carriers have received such threats. As for now, the Delhi Police have registered eight separate FIRs for these hoax threats. The first case was reported on October 14 when a Mumbai-New York Air India flight was forced to divert to the Delhi airport following a bomb threat.
