A Vistara flight recently requested a priority landing at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport or CSMIA in Mumbai. If reports are to go by, the priority landing was requested owing to a minor technical snag in the plane. This incident took place on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. According to an article which was recently published by livemint, the flight originated from Delhi Airport and was headed to Mumbai. However, owing to a minor technical snag, the flight demanded a priority landing.

The Vistara flight UK 995 took off from Delhi Airport at 10:49 AM. It managed to land safely at the Mumbai airport around 12:29 PM. The technical snag was detected shortly before landing and hence, as a precautionary measure, the pilot requested a priority landing.

The aircraft, which is an Airbus A320 Neo aircraft, is currently undergoing inspection to see what is wrong with it. The passengers, too, deboarded the plane safely. As per the livemint article, as many as 165 passengers were onboard the aircraft.

Recently, an Air India flight heading to London from Mumbai returned to the CSMIA after a technical error was detected in the plane. The plane had reached Kota in Rajasthan when the snag was detected.

The plane managed to return to the airport safely and no one was harmed. What is more, the passengers on the flight were offered refunds or alternate flight options on different dates as well. If reports are to go by, an abnormal sound was detected in the plane while it was landing.

Air India also recently discontinued a flight service between Pune and Mumbai that connected the two cities in just 55 minutes.
