The airline stated that heavy traffic congestion and slow vehicle movement are likely on roads leading to Varanasi airport on Tuesday. In this advisory, Vistara advised passengers, with plans to board flights from the airport, to have more time in hand to reach the airport. Extra time will help them be on time if they face traffic jams en route. “Customers are advised to allow extra time for their journey to the airport”, added Vistara.
If you are in Varanasi presently and will be travelling to the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport to catch your scheduled flight, follow the travel advisory issued by Vistara and plan your journey accordingly. Allowing additional time while heading to the airport is indeed a better plan considering the expectations for slow vehicular movement and traffic jams at places today.
Also, try keeping yourself updated with traffic information en route to the destination. Also, keep track of alternative roads as well in case you face any issues on your usually preferred road. You can simply change the route and travel to the airport easily.
