These idlis are made by placing two banana leaves on a pan. These leaves are then smeared with ghee and then a generous layer of veggie masala that tastes like onion sabzi. Then, another layer of masala is sprinkled over the veggie masala. Finally, a layer of idli batter with some kalonji is added to the leaf.
