It’s hardly a secret that people in Dubai are always ready to help out others. And it seems that something similar happened at the Dubai International Airport quite recently. Yes, a staff member of the airport helped out a man that had been travelling after five years! Here’s all you need to know over the heartwarming video as posted by the DXB.

DXB Staff Helps Passenger In Distress

Recently, a staff member of the Dubai International Airport helped a passenger who was in medical distress at Terminal 1. Two traffic marshals, Balraj Singh and Adarsh Chandran, promptly took action by offering a helping hand to the person in need. During their shift at Area 3, Balraj saw a passenger having trouble walking. He quickly stepped in to help, and as he approached, he realised that the person was struggling to breathe. So, he immediately alerted the team leader for medical support.

Adarsh further shared how this passenger was showing signs of serious discomfort as he was seen clutching his chest. So, as the two marshals cleared the area by gently dispersing the crowd, they were able to give the guest some space and privacy. The whole point of helping people out and going out of the way to do so is to ensure that people leave the airport, happily.

They Also Helped A Passenger In Emotional Distress

In another heartwarming incident, a duty officer had a traveller take his flight back after being stuck in Dubai for five years due to his fear of flying. It was later explained by his brother how this person had come to the airport for the fifth time and just as he was about to complete the immigration, once again, he started to panic and refuse to fly. So, as the travel officer recognised fear and anxiety, he allowed the passenger to understand how this was not a physical problem but an emotional one. Once the passenger was satisfied, he was able to board the flight. In fact, the passenger’s brother also sent this duty officer a message relaying his gratitude for his emotional support.

These are just some of the many incidents showing how the Dubai International Airport staff is always going above and beyond to help passengers. Quite recently, Dubai Police also helped an Egyptian passenger receive their luggage, as it was accidentally picked up by another passenger who was in a hurry.

So, it’s not wrong to say that Dubai Airport is not just connecting you to the rest of the world but also offers a great opportunity for people to feel at ease when they travel.
