We Enjoyed A Delicious Sunday Brunch Spread With Neeru Bajwa And Diljit Dosanjh

Neeru Bajwa Diljit Dosanjh

Punjabi aa gaye Curly Tales oye! We were delighted to have the talented Punjabi actors, Neeru Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh for one of our recent Sunday Brunch episodes. Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, enjoyed a hearty brunch with them at Diljit’s hotel room in Mumbai. Technically, it was Neeru and Kamiya who crashed Diljit’s room for the promotions of Jatt & Juliet 3. What followed was a great conversation, good food and lots of laughs.

Sunday Brunching With Neeru Bajwa And Diljit Dosanjh

After talking about Diljit and Neeru’s food habits and favourite dishes, we indulged in some delicious Bambaiya snacks. We learned that both of our guests love to gorge on Punjabi food. However, they were in Mumbai with Kamiya, a Chembur girlie. So, how could we miss Mumbai street food?

Hence, yummy-looking plates of kanda bhajiya, vada pav, medu vada, pohe, chole with naan and bhel puri were brought out for them. We had a wide variety of food items ranging from South Indian to North Indian cuisine to suit everyone’s palate. Everyone was excited to dig into the Sunday Brunch food spread.

Diljit was happy to see pohe among the dishes as it was his favourite healthy breakfast. In addition to pohe, he loaded his plate with bhel puri, chole and more. While Neeru straight went for the bowl of chole as she wanted some protein for the day.

Kamiya Called Neeru “A True Punjaban!”

Kamiya pointed out that she is “a true Punjaban” for choosing chole out of the tempting spread. Neeru laughed and revealed that oily food isn’t her favourite. Instead, she enjoys hot parantha slathered with ghee. That sounds so tempting!

She even mentioned that she eats pizza during her cheat meals but avoids oily food. It is truly an ick for her.
