We Played An Interesting Game With Anupam Kher; Got To Know A Lot About His Memories

With over four decades in the film industry and having done more than 500 films, the talented Anupam Kher is a powerhouse of talent. This time, he took a challenging lead role in ‘Vijay 69’, played his real age for the cameras, learned swimming, and did a triathlon. On this episode of Sunday Brunch, he played a fun game with us and shared fun anecdotes; read on.

Anupam Kher Got Nostalgic While Playing This Game

Anupam Kher went down memory lane as he played an amazing game on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro 360. We had many old pictures from some of his significant moments in life. The actor narrated the story behind each photograph. 

The first snap was from his debut film, ‘Saaransh’ in 1984. He played a 65-year-old man at the age of 28! Anupam Ji elaborated on the picture, “This is January 1984, during the shot of ‘Saaransh’. I was 28 years old. That is Rohini and Soni Razdan. Whenever I see my pictures from ‘Saaransh’, I can’t recognise myself, he seems like someone else.”

The next picture was of the villain Dr Dang from the film, ‘Karma’ which brought a sweet smile to the actor’s face. He told us that the snapshot is from the climax scene of the film. He credits the characterisation of Dr Dang to film director, Subhash Ghai.

His New Avatar?

For the next one, we pick out a picture of Anupam Kher in the gym. The actor was happy to speak about his muscled-up new avatar and said, “When I turned 60, I decided to look different. I had never gone to a gym, I had never done any dieting.”

He added that he likes to reinvent himself after a couple of years. This time, he didn’t want to work on a difficult character but on himself and his body. This is how his fitness journey began.
