1. Part Of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Int’l Road (E11) In Al Dhafra To Be Closed

Recently, the Integrated Transport Centre announced that the right lane of the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Int’l Road (E11) in Al Dhafra will be temporarily closed. Yes, the closure will remain in place till December 30, 5 AM. Therefore, motorists have been urged to drive cautiously while strictly observing traffic rules and regulations. The ITC also revealed that there would be a partial road closure on Sheikha Salama Bint Butti Road (E45) – Madinat Zayed – Al Dhafra Region till December 8, 5 AM.

2. Sheikh Mohammed Approves Models Of Aerial Taxi Vertiports

Dubai RTA recently took to its official account in X to mention that its models of aerial taxi vertiports have been approved by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and the vice president of the UAE. As such, the first vertiport prototype design near Dubai International Airport has gotten the green light. As a result, the project will be operational by 2026 and it is also aligned with the self-driving transport strategy of Dubai. Moreover, the aim is to make 25% of journeys driverless by 2030.
