Walk Into The Ocean At Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort

Recently, our Chief Travelling Officer, Kamiya Jani visited one of the most beautiful resorts on the island of Mirandhoo in Maldives. Inspired by her experience, we are going to introduce you to the magic that is the Westin Maldives Mirandhoo Resort.

What is it?

Well, if you want to know how paradise looks like, come to the Maldives and stay at the Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort.

40-50 minutes away from the Male airport, Miriandhoo is the smallest island in the Maldives. You can also take a 20 minutes domestic flight to Dharavandhoo Airport from Male airport to reach where the magic happens.

Spread across only 0.6 kms, Westin Maldives Miriandhoo is an island by itself which looks absolutely breathtaking.

You can choose to stay at an over-water villa attached with a plunge pool opening out to the ocean or an island villa to enjoy the beachy vibes.

Since the entire island is spread across o.6 km, it is very convenient to walk around. If you would like to pamper yourself then take a ride in one of their cool golf carts.

The interiors at Westin is inspired by the marine life and if you closely look at these water villas all of them have a roof that looks like a turtle shell.

What’s in it?

The resort island offers two categories of rooms, Water villas and Island villas. Which means you can have a direct view of either the pool or the ocean.

Looks like it is a win in both the situations.

The property is home to three restaurants that offer local, Continental, street Asian, and Japanese cuisines.

The Sunset Bar at the Westin Miriandhoo Maldives is probably one of the best places to unwind and relax at the end of the day. It is also the best place to enjoy watching the sun melt in the ocean.

What else?

Westin as a brand heavily focuses on the health and the well-being of its guests and has six iconic pillars that spell, ‘Eat Well’, ‘Sleep Well’, ‘Work Well’, ‘Play Well’, ‘Feel Well’ and ‘Move Well’.

Starting with ‘Feel Well’ you can take a trip down to their spa as you indulge in soulful treatments. Reconnect with your senses as you watch the blue waters through a glass floor.

‘Move Well’ as you try water sports like snorkeling, diving, fishing and parasailing. ‘Play Well’ with the outdoor tennis court or engage in fun activities with your kids at the play area. ‘Work Well’ at the 24 hours Westin Workout Fitness Studio that also boasts of a breathtaking view of the ocean. ‘Sleep Well’ on the Westin Heavenly Bed as it ensures a truly restful night.

And as a part of the ‘Sleep Well’ movement, they have the most comfortable and heavenly bed which is extremely soft and cozy. The bed comes with 7 layers that ensure that nothing comes between you and your sleep making it even more difficult to get out of it in the morning.
