It was on Saturday early morning that Hamas invaded Israel on one of the major holidays for Jews. Soon after, a multitude of prolonged rocket attacks happened, which were followed by chilling videos from the ground attacks surfacing on social media. On the same day, the attack especially affected the festival goers near the Gaza Strip. So, when the Hamas infiltrated from the border and started open firing, many ran for cover. Here’s what happened at the festival.
Bodies Recovered At Festival Site From The Attack That Happened On Oct 7
A chilling report from Hindustan Times revealed that Zaka, which is an Israeli Rescue Service revealed that its paramedics removed around 260 bodies all night, from the music festival area. The festival site was near the Gaza Strip and was attended by thousands of people, which had come under attack by the Palestinian-based Hamas. This attack happened on Saturday, October 7, early morning. And it must be mentioned that the total figure is expected to be a lot higher. This regulation comes at a time when teams are still working in the area.

A Glimpse Of The War Situation In Israel
According to chilling social media videos, several festival-goers who were running through an open field were seen taking cover to save their lives or were gunned down as they tried to run away from the armed gunman openly shooting. Moreover, it’s worth mentioning that the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel is in a state of war. With the retaliatory operation dubbed Iron Swords, the military has been given the green light to retaliate against the surprise attack. As of now, the death toll has passed 1,100 and thousands have already been wounded, on both sides. This staggering toll has not been experienced in decades!
In the midst of this development, several international carriers have cancelled their flights. Air India, Delta Airlines, American Airlines, and even Air France have suspended flight operations.
As the nation is in a state of emergency, people are taking cover and the prime minister of Israel also asked people to prepare for a long and difficult war, as mentioned in a report by Khaleej Times.
