Indian Railways Launches SwaRail; Here’s How You Can Use The App
The Indian Railways has introduced a new super app called ‘SwaRail’ to improve user experience. This new app combines several services and eliminates the need for different programs for travellers. According to India Today, the SwaRail app offers users several train-related services like ticket booking, PNR status, food ordering, and more, under one unified platform.
This app is developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). It aims to help Indian railway travellers manage all their travel queries in one app. Currently, the SwaRail app is available for beta testers on both Android and iOS. You can join the beta testing on both systems. However, as per the latest update, the beta testing limit on Android is full. Indian Railways has assured that once the beta testing is completed, the app will be available for download.
Once you download the app, you can either register as a new user or login with your existing Rail Connect or UTS Mobile credentials. Using existing user details will help sync all your past travel details into the app. After this, follow the simple login process and your app is ready for use.
