The architecture is going to be designed in traditional Najdi style, and it is expected to create a traditional Saudi village-like atmosphere. Complete with courtyard, bazaars, souqs, pedestrian streets, and squares, it will span 3,65,000 m². With this large built-up area, there will also be the use of local forms and materials to truly create a traditional atmosphere here.
As it happens, the pedestrian-centric design is expected to offer direct access to Wadi Hanifa. With its close vicinity to the breathtaking At-Turaif Unesco World Heritage Site, the district is already being called the Beverly Hills of Riyadh. Complete with more than 400 retail, leisure brands, and dining outlets across eight key retail zones, it’s all set to become a leading lifestyle destination globally.
