Eid Al-Adha is just a few days away and people can’t wait to celebrate the festival with their loved ones. So, this means that holidays have already been declared for people across the nations in the Middle East. Take a look at some of the different holiday dates in major countries of the Middle East. Saudi Arabia

Announced by the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, a four-day holiday has been declared for the private and non-profit sectors. Yes, this will begin from June 15 and go on till June 18, 2024. Work will be resuming on June 19!

Oman

As per the royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Eid al Adha holiday for employees of the State Administrative Apparatus and other legal entities has been declared. Yes, in fact, it also includes those for the private sector. These holidays will begin on June 16 and go on till June 20. This means work will resume on Sunday, June 23.

UAE

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the public holiday. Yes, it will June 15 to June 18, so work will resume on Wednesday, June 19. It was also mentioned by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources that the public sector will be given the same paid holiday.

According to the official order of Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Khasawneh, the holiday will begin from June 16 and will be till June 20. Not to mention, there will be suspension of work for all ministries, public institutions, municipalities, official departments, joint services councils, public universities, the Greater Amman Municipality, and government-owned companies.
