Nestled in the mesmerising expanse of Al Aweer, this temporary camping location has all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The municipality has designed this camping experience with your safety, comfort, and enjoyment in mind, after all, what’s camping without some comfy vibes?

Permits, Safety & More!
While you can design your camp within the outlined space, you’ll have to follow specific guidelines, such as:
- Camps must be fenced.
- All activities should be camping and family-related.
- Fire safety measures are a must, including mandatory fire extinguishers.
- Speed limits of 20 km/h for sand bikes within the area.
- No fireworks, flashlights, or loudspeakers
With dedicated commercial zones, local businesses will also be able to offer camping supplies and services, turning your stay into a fun and easy experience.
Registration For Permit
Ready to reserve your spot in the desert? You can apply for your camping permit through several platforms:
- Dubai Municipality website
- The Dubai Now app that is available for both IOS & Android
- Dubai Building Permit System (Build in Dubai website)
When using the Dubai Now app, you’ll need to log in with your UAE Pass. If you’re applying through other methods, make sure to have a valid Dubai-issued passport copy and a registration summary handy. Permits are available for a minimum of three months, extending to six months, at a fee of just 44 fils per square meter for a maximum area of 400 square meters.
