With approximately 330% more searches for stays for the forthcoming long weekend, South Goa has become the most popular Indian destination domestically, demonstrating its attractiveness as the go-to beach location. From yoga retreats overlooking the sea to holistic spa treatments infused with local traditions, coastal destinations offer a holistic escape from the stresses of urban life. There’s also the cultural attraction of places like Varanasi, Jaipur, and Pondicherry, along with the popularity of hill stations like Mussoorie, Ooty, and Manali, which generate interest in short weekend trips during the forthcoming long weekend. Indian travellers search for beachfront accommodations, followed by amazing views and pools.
