Thoongampara, named after its iconic feature, a large hanging rock known as Hanganpara, offers an exhilarating view of the surrounding landscape. According to News 18, with an investment of ₹99.99 lakh, the project’s first phase focuses on enhancing the site’s infrastructure. It will certainly help accommodate and welcome visitors. Planned developments include steps leading to the rock, modern toilets, rustic huts for relaxation, a retaining wall for safety, and clear signage. 

To further enhance the visitor experience, the project will also introduce an open stage for events. Rainwater harvesting systems, improved water supply, electrification, and detailed landscaping will also be intirduced as per the News 18 reports. This initiative is not just about boosting tourism but also about creating sustainable job opportunities for local residents.

Thoongampara is evolving into a recognised eco-tourism spot. It also promises to offer visitors a rare blend of natural splendour and cultural depth. Whether it’s the awe-inspiring views from the cliffs, the tranquillity of the setting sun, or the charm of local traditions, Thoongampara is set to become a must-visit destination.
