The Kingdom prepares its travel and tourism sector for a surge of foreign tourists in the coming years. Habitas, a luxury hotel brand has received 1.5 billion Riyals from the Saudi government and investment community. The capital was placed in a “Habitas Fund” established by The Saudi Tourism Development Fund (TDF). It might aid the business of immersive travel lodging and experiences companies, in growing over the Kingdom and drawing more visitors. Although the precise details of how the cash will be used have not been made public.

The business, which specialised in events as well, apparently intends to grow from its current two locations to six. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia’s capital city Riyadh, and other locations along the Red Sea Coast are among its prospective target locations.

Currently, Habitas has two locations in Saudi Arabia: the Habitas AlUla resort and a campground for RVs within a massive “living museum” project. With the opening of hotels in Saudi Arabia notably in the last two years, the brand has expanded dramatically. With an emphasis on long-term viability, civic engagement, and local storytelling, it now hopes to attract more domestic and foreign visitors to its resorts.

Travel and lodging choices known as “hotel circuits” are growing in popularity since they are frequently located in alluring, rural settings and allow visitors to move effortlessly from one location to another. This is inclusive of organising transport from airports.

After new tourist legislation was enacted that would require hosts and owners to get permits and present evidence of ownership. This followed the disclosure of Saudi Arabia getting ready to create its own home rental platform came in the picture. To compete with significant worldwide markets like Airbnb Saudi finally planned to create this app at the beginning of the year.

We will be back with more information regarding this app.
