One of the recent announcements includes a 45,000-seat stadium in Riyadh, which will be used as a multipurpose event flow. Here’s all about it!

ROSHN Stadium Is A 45000-Seat Stadium

ROSHN Stadium is the newest stadium that will be rising in the city of Riyadh. Announced by ROSHN Group, which is the leading multi-asset class real estate developer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this is also a PIF-backed company. The announcement revealed this stadium will have 45,000 seats. This will be spread across 4,50,000 m² in the southwest region will be developed. It’s worth mentioning that the landmark mixed project will include a wide range of shops, restaurants, and hospitality venues.

It should be noted that this mixed project will comprise several hospitality venues at the heart of which will lie the main sports and events floor. In fact, it will be connecting several facilities with an open and cohesive design, seamlessly. Coming up in south-west Riyadh, the structure will be characterised by its modern crystalline design.

The Stadium Has A Crystalline Design

An important step towards expansion by this group into the mixed-use development spread across several sectors, this move also aligns with the Saudi Vision 2030. Yes, visitors, once the stadium opens, will be able to enjoy several sports facilities, like walkways and public green spaces. In fact, the stadium will be designed in such a way that it meets the requirements for hosting some of the most prominent international sporting events. Not to mention, the stadium will also host several other entertainment, cultural, and social events. The sustainable design will incorporate some of the latest technologies for water and energy management. And, this will include solar panels that will be integrated into the stadium’s infrastructure.

The enchanting design of the roof will enhance the air movement, which will ensure adequate ventilation and control access to sunlight inside the stadium during the day.

So with the new stadium coming up, the project is bound to improve the quality of life while also supporting economic growth in the kingdom.
