Folks, we come bearing good news! Navi Mumbai is all set to get a new theme park which will be modelled on the lines of Disneyland. Soon, you will not have to travel to Hong Kong, Paris, or the USA to experience the Disneyland magic! The Maharashtra government, in collaboration with NITI Aayog, has announced its plans to open Wonder Park, a Disneyland-style theme park in Navi Mumbai. This amusement park will offer a magical and immersive experience and is part of Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR)’s Growth Hub initiative.

According to reports surfacing online, this upcoming Disneyland-style theme park in Navi Mumbai will be open to the public by 2030. Once open, it will be one of the largest amusement parks in India and will offer a complete entertainment experience for visitors of all ages.

All You Need To Know About This Upcoming Amusement Park

The authorities hope that the Wonder Park in Navi Mumbai will attract both international and local visitors, just like Disneyland amusement parks across the globe. According to The Times of India, the estimated cost of the park is between $6-7 billion.

Initial reports suggest that visitors will be able to experience beautifully designed areas themed around popular Disney characters and franchises at this theme park. It will also have a resort, animation studios, a dedicated rides zone, a water park, an artificial lake, scenic picnic spots, a kid’s play area, entertainment zones, and much more.

The Maharashtra government believes that this Disneyland-inspired theme park in Navi Mumbai will give a major boost to the state’s economy. The park is expected to provide a major boost to the local economy, create thousands of jobs, and increase tourism.
