We can all imagine how exciting the whole tournament is going to be. Kamiya Jani gave us a sneak peek into all the inner workings and events.
Hosted in Qatar, magnificent is the right word for all that took place, and it was truly an iconic moment for team Curly Tales to be invited to cover the T20 Legends League. Taking you behind the scenes of this mega event, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, had an insider-access to all of it.
Kamiya Jani Met The Legends League Founder, Raman Raheja
Firstly, she met the man behind this massive event. Raman Raheja is the founder of the Legends League. He considers this task of bringing together the 50 biggest names in cricket under one roof to be historic, and we couldn’t agree more. She met cricket icons like Shane Watson, Shahid Afridi, Ravi Shastri, Gautam Gambhir, Bret Lee, and many more. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it? She also got to interview quite a few of them, and you definitely don’t want to miss it.
With her exclusive media access, Kamiya Jani got a chance to show us some exclusive material. The most exciting part had to be the OB van, where all the live editing for the broadcast takes place. She witnessed the kind attention that is required while live broadcasting these cricket matches. It was a tricky task and quite impressive as well.
She Met Shahid Afridi from Asia Lions
After the match ended with the Asia Lions winning, she went on to interview the Pakistani legend from the winning team, Shahid Afridi. That wasn’t all. She interviewed a lot of other cricketers, like Harbhajan Singh, Brett Lee, and more, and certainly had an exciting time.
To be this close to the cricket field and in the company of true legends in the world of cricket was an unreal experience. To know more about how it went, check out this episode, and stay tuned for many more of this series to come.
