Singapore has retained the top spot on the world’s most powerful passport list, according to the latest Henley Passport Index released in October 2024. Singapore Retains Top Spot On Henley Passport Index 2024

Henley Passport Index released its latest rankings for the strongest passports in the world and Singapore has reclaimed the top spot! Citizens from this country enjoy visa-free access to 195 countries out of 227 destinations across the world. According to Travel And Tour World, this remarkable level of global mobility reflects Singapore’s strong diplomatic relationship with other countries.

The Henley Passport Index ranks countries based on their citizens’ travel freedom and the number of destinations their passport holders can access without a prior visa. As per reports, this list is created based on the most extensive and precise data from the International Air Transport Authority (IATA).

Besides Singapore, two other Asian countries made it to the top 10 most powerful passports list in the world. With visa-free access to 192 countries, Japan secured the second position on the list. South Korea is the third Asian country on the list with visa-free access for 191 countries!

India Ranks 83rd On The List

India ranks 83rd on the Henley Passport Index in October 2024. Reportedly, Indians enjoy visa-free access to 58 countries worldwide. The country slipped one rank since the July edition of the list. It was previously placed on the 82nd spot. Indians now enjoy visa-free travel to countries like Nepal, Mauritius, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Maldives.
