Everyone’s Favourite Northern Lights Tops The Global Travel List In 2024
It was about a month ago when Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the US were surprised by the mesmerising display of northern lights and auroras. Netizens from other parts of the world surely had FOMO and it was a time when we witnessed globetrotters’ wish to witness the glory of these enchanting lights. Well, seeing the Northern Lights topped the list of the world’s most popular bucket list activities.
It has been followed by enjoying a trek on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, the Galapagos Islands, and Mount Kilimanjaro respectively.
Skyhook, a renowned travel company, conducted a survey for this interesting study. According to a report by ATC News, more than 4,000 people from different countries participated in this and shared their preferences and choices to explore the world. They were provided with 15 wonderful travel experiences and asked to choose only three among them.
The incredible bucket list options included some of the best and most popular ones worldwide. Northern Lights, Galapagos Islands, Mount Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp Trek, and Angkor Wat were among the options for this survey.
The results of the survey highlighted travellers’ preferences and their age’s influence on their choices. While Gen Z commonly chose Northern Lights, enjoying a cruise in Antarctica fascinated Boomers the most.
