Yes, it has cancelled flights to and from the UAE till the end of the month. Revealed by the airline on Tuesday, June 24, here’s all you need to know about this travel-related development.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi Cancels UAE Flights Until June 30

If you had plans to travel with Wizz Air Abu Dhabi in the coming days, you will now want to rethink and plan. We say this because recently, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi announced that it has cancelled its flights to and from the UAE till June 30. Yes, this comes after many of its flights were diverted to other airports on Monday evening. The diversion of flights came after several airspaces, including those in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, were closed.

Announcement Comes After Airspace Was Closed Temporarily In The Region

Keeping the safety and security of passengers, including those of the crew as well as a priority, the airline has taken this decision. This announcement by Abu Dhabi comes after the Hungarian low-cost airline announced its suspension of flights to and from the UAE. As it happens, several flights have been affected due to the closure of airspace.
